"Almost all children respond to music. Music is an open-sesame, and if you can use it carefully and appropriately, you can reach into that child's potential for development." Dr. Clive Robbins

Announcements:  We are in need of more toliet paper rolls if you could send some for Monday and Tuesday that would be great.
This week is show and tell on Wednesday and Thursday.  Because it is our last show and tell of the year, students can bring anything they would like to show.  Calendars will be sent home Monday and Tuesday so look for that.  We will be having a field trip at the Willow Park Zoo next week.  If you can send $1 for their admission that would be great.
See your e-mail for announcements on the Smithfield Parade.

Home Challenge:  This week we are talking about bugs, and insects.  Encourage your little budding scientist to find bugs outside while he is playing.  Ask him questions about the bug.  Does it have wings, what color is it, and how many legs does it have? Etc.
